Even though many of us take the time to reflect on life and our experiences continuously throughout the year, starting a new year always provides a fresh opportunity for deep reflection and implementing changes in our courses of action in order to ensure success! Whether you are writing or revisiting your goals for 2017, please continue to think about how you will partner with Sela to ensure your children are successful academically and socially this school year. I am encouraging our staff members to ask themselves every single day, "What must I do today to ensure each and every child is successful?" And, I am asking you to do the same! Ask yourself every day, "What can I do today to ensure my child is successful both academically and socially (and how can I support Sela with doing so)?"

As I look back on Sela's 2015-2016 school year, there is so much to celebrate - the increase in our student enrollment and student retention, the increase in the diversity of our students and staff, the hiring and retention of amazing teachers and staff members, our students' academic achievement and growth in English and in Hebrew, the growth in engagement and support from Sela families, the increase in philanthropic support, and so much more. By the way, did I mention that Sela is now a Tier 1 school?!!! We accomplished so much during the 2015-2016 school year! However, we have so much more to achieve during the 2016-2017 school year, and we cannot do it without your ongoing partnership! Thank you so much for your commitment to Sela!
